The property runs 34 solar panels on the roof and heat pumps in every room, making it Vernon's first solar-powered hotel. Guests enjoy free hot breakfast, fast free WiFi, EV charging, digital check-in/check-out, digital keys, and Google Chromecast in every room. The hotel includes comfortable guestrooms and kitchenette suites with in-room microwaves and refrigerators. Guests can relax with an indoor heated pool, hot tub, and infrared sauna, or spend time in the seasonal courtyard and BBQ area. It's a practical base for families, sports teams, business travellers, and eco-conscious guests, with easy access to Kal Tire Place, downtown Vernon, Village Green Shopping Centre, Okanagan Rail Trail, Kalamalka Lake, Davison Orchards, Okanagan Science Centre, local wineries, and SilverStar Mountain Resort. On sustainability, the property holds a four-key Green Key certification, likely the only Quality Inn in Canada at that level, and was the first Biosphere-certified hotel in the Okanagan. Food waste is composted through an on-site program collected biweekly, soft and hard plastics are recycled, and a Bird electric scooter nest sits on the property for low-carbon guest travel. The kitchen sources local apples seasonally from nearby Okanagan orchards and redistributes surplus breakfast food through Too Good To Go. A full food audit completed in 2026 led to concrete changes at breakfast to reduce food waste and carbon emissions.
